4Needs Frequent Cleaning

The product does what it promises. It stops leaves and other debris for going down the gutter drains. However, it needs frequent monitoring and maintenance. A few leaves stuck around it make the gutter fill in heavy rain and water spills over the edge. Therefore, if you are thinking of using this in difficult to access gutters, factor frequent cleaning in your decision. I had to remove two of them from high gutters for this reason. I am better off without the strainers.

5a great solution

many other gutter products only fit certain styles or get easily clogged. We have a pine tree nearby and this prevents the needles clogging the downspout. I wish I would've found this earlier!!!

4Screws in

If installation screws impede the strainer it's easy enough to screw this gutter strainer into the downspout. Unlike others I've now discarded.
