KEEP the ICE DAM away!

I have been using these for many years now. I think it is good to change them every 10 years or so. I DO NOT have any of the troubles my neighbors have with ice damming damage and overflow onto the stairs. These will save you TIME and MONEY with little to no damage and no insurance claims.
They are easy to install on shorter building 1-1/2 stories by the average homeowner and use a timer to save on electric costs. I run ours from 8am - noon, then again at 2pm -4pm and this works for us, you may try other times suited to your area.

Worked - Gutter

It worked, I used it in a 40-foot gutter that is usually full of ice, and we had none. Did not have to hook up the hose to the hot water to melt down.

The clips were non-functional

The cable was acceptable but the clips did not work and I would not use them. I ended up purchasing another style of clips.
