Product Description
LeafsOut consists of three main components: a front anodized aluminum drip edge; a stainless steel V-Bend micro mesh filter; and a water siphon control strip under the mesh. Can be installed on various gutter types such as Ogee, half round, fascia, curved, box and many type of roofs such as asphalt shingle, wood shake, flat tile, Spanish tile and stone coated steel. Simply slips under the roof shingles and rests on top of the roof-deck/water-barrier (tar paper) to "clamp" the gutter guard in place and stabilize its structure. The solid aluminum front fits snug to the front lip of the gutter via three self-tapping screws for each four foot length section. LeafsOut should be installed at a 10 to 30 degree pitch in order to maximize product performance.

Great product!
By D. Mozingo
This stuff is identical to the MasterShield brand, which the regional contractor wanted $8,000 to install on my hip-roof ranch. For $500-ish, Leaf Blaster is working just as well.
It installed easy enough (search YouTube for Leaf Blaster for an install video from the creator). If you have long gutter runs, note that the edges may be too low for the standard 5" Leaf Blaster to reach from the gutter lip to the roof. I moved the gutters up a bit and sacrificed the slope for a few feet - you may want to order a little bit of the wider Leaf Blaster.
The kit arrived in good shape. They include plenty of the self tapping stainless steel screws, nice color instructions (just still from the previously mentioned YouTube video with text really, but still good), a hand full of outside edge guard pieces, and even a magnetic driver bit to put the screws in with. The video wasn't misleading as to how hard the install was. Each piece slipped right under the shingles and the screws went right in. Even the outside and inside corners where a piece of cake.
So far not a single leaf got past, and even in the heaviest of rains, no water washed over the gutters. I have to say, I'm highly impressed with this product. An afternoon's worth of work saved me about $7,500 from the contractor option! I'm recommending it to all my friends and family.

Fairly easy install, works good so far
By J. Morgan
Installation went pretty smooth. Cutting and 'snapping' the sections to fit went pretty well. The tape worked great and seems to hold them onto the gutter securely.
I live in a warm area so ice and snow aren't an issue. The main issue is debris from my big Oak trees. The leaves and pollen 'husks' clog up the downspouts and work their way through other guards with larger holes.
I bought this 25' pack to test out on the most troublesome section of gutters I have.
So far, so good.

Finally, a gutter cover that really works
By Don W.
I have an inside corner where two good size roof panels converge in a valley. Runoff during a heavy rain dumps directly into a basement stairwell.
Over the years, I have tried:
Open gutters - no luck as they rapidly and frequently filled with leaves and other stuff resulting in clogs.
Three different brands of capilary covers - better but not good enough. Heavy rain still over ran the covers at the inside corner of the gutter.
Finally these covers. I initially purchased a 11 inch sample piece and later the 24 foot kit. Turns out I had 24.5 feet of gutters to cover so the sample was needed to finish the job. I paid my roofing company to remove the covers they had installed several years prior and then to install these.
The covers are drilled for 3 screws per section and screws are provided. We drilled more holes and also used the screws from the old covers. This may not have been necessary but doing so appeared to make the covers more secure.
Now, more than a year after installation, I can say these things really work. No leaves or other debrits stick or clog anything and even a very heavy downpour drains right through the cover.
I cannot recommend these enough. I have no relationship with the company nor any distributor other than being a very satisfied customer.
